Disaster Resilience & Relief
Community-level preparedness for earthquakes, floods and landslides — and fast, accountable relief when they come.
- Where
- Across Bagmati Province
- Running since
- 2021
In Nepal disaster is not the exception; only the level of readiness varies. We do not want to be an organisation that starts running after the event — so the work begins with preparedness.
In each village we help form a local disaster management committee, map the risks, run first-aid and search-and-rescue training, and agree the safe assembly points before anything happens.
When disaster does strike, we are positioned to distribute food, tarpaulin and hygiene kits within 72 hours in coordination with the municipality — and we publish the full distribution record afterwards.
